THEOLOGY MAJOR SPECIALTY DIPLOMA PROGRAM - ALSO CAN BE USED AS IN ADVANCED PLACEMENT AS THE YEAR 3 AND YEAR 4 OF A BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY PROGRAM ( B.TH. )

* Please Note- If you are applying for a Bachelors degree Specialty Major Program ie: Theology you must also complete the Pastoral Ministry Diploma courses- see Nav bar for info. The courses required for this Diploma are also the requirements for the Bachelors degree or equivalent normally taken in Years 1 and Year 2. If these have not been taken then because of awarded transfer credits by us to you for previous work related to your degree then they may be taken later- but- they are mandatory for our degrees because they are foundational in the Word of God. We have an Apostolic emphasis in training leaders who know and can aptly apply and discern the Word and the whole counsel of God according to all of the Scriptures.



You may take this as a Diploma or Certificate Program as well. All Programs are described below.





PASTORAL MINISTRY CERTIFICATE AND DIPLOMA COURSES:



* All of our first and second year Bachelor Programs will follow the requirements of the Pastoral Ministry Diploma which we will repeat below. This can be found under the Pastoral Ministry Program link at the left Nav bar- also it may be taken as a Specialized Diploma Program we also offer here. These required courses are Year 1 and Year 2 forALL of our Bachelors degrees here. If these courses have been taken then you can apply with documentation of your official transcripts with us for transfer credit and assessment for advanced placement for this degree.

* Students will declare both a Major Specialty subject area ( 48 credits or 16 courses ) and a Minor concentration area  when applying with us subject to admissions policies and procedures as outlined- please see that link for info at the left Nav bar here.

* You may also see all available and new Major Specialty Programs available here at all levels for each one at this Nav bar as it is available - ie: Biblical Counselling; Pastoral Ministry; Theology; Health & Fitness etc. Please feel free to make requests or suggestions at our contact link/s.

* All of our Bachelor degree Programs are 4 years or 120 credits or 40 courses. ( each term course is 3 credits )

* All of our Bachelor degree Programs have a Residency requirement with us of the final two Senior years. ( Year 3 and Year 4 ). This means for each Bachelors that Years 1 and 2 are the only transfer credits you can have applied to that degree subject to degree requirements. You must then complete any credits for the last 2 Senior years ( 60 credits or 20 courses ) for which we do award you transfer credit for then as an elective if you already have it as accepted and assessed by us for transfer. We can assess individual requirements and make recommendations upon request.

* All Bachelor degree course and credit hour requirements for the ALL Major ( 48 credits or 16 courses ) and Minor ( 18 credits or 6 courses ) that you specify for must be met. If you think there are possible exceptions in your case for transfer please apply for assessment.

* All first year Pastoral Ministry Diploma or Certificate students must complete the Research Essay writing course before they can enter Year 3 Bachelors Specialty Major Programs. You should make this one of your elective courses if you plan to go on to further advanced studies with us.

* All Bachelors Specialty Major Program students must take a Thesis writing course in their final two years.

* Students choose from their desired Specialty Major Programs their final two years of study with us for this degree ie:Theology, Pastoral Ministry; Biblical Counselling etc. Each of these Program Majors are listed for required courses at the links at the left Nav bar. These Diploma Programs are the equivalent of the Year 3 and Year 4 for Bachelors degrees according to the Specialty Major and Minor subjects you choose.

* At this time we accept ALL relevant GBIS and N.A.T.S. Affiliates degrees and courses that apply to our Programs as outlined for transfer credit and advanced placement assessment. We will assess others also on an individual basis.

* There is a time limit for completing graduation for Bachelors degrees of 8 years. Some exceptions may be made so please re-apply if you think you have such extenuating circumstances. We will do all we reasonably can do to help our students succeed!

* All Bachelor degree Specialty Major Programs are offered on an independent study format online or via email or correspondense wherever possible with an interactive online assigned Faculty Advisor. We are right now working on a Virtual Classroom possibility as well- TBA.


PASTORAL MINISTRY SPECIALTY DIPLOMA PROGRAM COURSES ( this is also the first and second year requirements for All Specialty Major Bachelor degree Programs with us- if there are credits to make up then these courses may be taken in the senior years for these Bachelors degrees ).

* Important Note- All Senior Year 3 and Year 4 degree Specialty Major Program students are required to also take a mandatory course as an elective choice called Thesis Writing as a degree requirement for all of our Bachelor degrees. this prepares the students for our more advanced graduate Masters and Doctoral degrees in various Christian disciplines as outlined at the Nav bar links for a Thesis Option.

* NEWS / UPDATES-

GRADUATE SPECIALTY DEGREES IN THEOLOGY- ( All graduate degrees are two years or 60 credits- or 20 courses equivalents- except the M.Div. which is 3 years or 90 credits beyond the Bachelors or Masters degree entrance level. Most have Non-thesis and Thesis routes available- exceptions noted with the Specialty Major info as posted at these Site links. )


Master of Theology- Th.M. ( for those students who do not want to take the free Non-thesis option degree version which is from a reformed or Calvinist theology base from N.A.T.S.- although you do not need to subscribe to this necessarily ). This is a Thesis-only option and requires demonstrated advanced research writing skills or else the student must take a 'Thesis writing' course in the first term. The minimum entrance mark for Masters students is a Bachelors degree with an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher. If the student does not have this then they must take a Research writing AND a 'Thesis' writing course and register as 'Qualifying' students in their first year and at the end of that year they must have the required GPA to enter their second year as regular graduate Masters students.


Doctorate of Theology- Th.D. ( This is also a Thesis-only option and requires a Master of Theology degree with a Thesis. If the student has an acceptable Masters degree from elsewhere but has never done a Thesis then a 'Thesis' writing course must be taken and passed in the first term.
This is a Thesis-only option and requires demonstrated advanced research writing skills or else the student must take a 'Thesis writing' course in the first term. The minimum entrance mark for Doctoral level students is a Masters degree with an overall GPA of 2.75 or higher. If the student does not have this then they must take a Research writing course AND a Thesis Writing course as electives and register as 'Qualifying' students in their first year and at the end of that year they must have the required entrance 2.75 overall GPA to enter their second year as a regular graduate level Masters student.( The Th.D. is the Seminary degree equivalent academic level of a secular University Ph.D. Program and requires advanced research and graduate writing level skills as well as substantial knowledge of advanced theological studies- or make up courses must be taken in theology if not in the first year. )
