You will also find Admissions entrance requirements and info for Programs at the left Nav bar links for all of our undergraduate and graduate programs or courses.
Biblical or 'Nouthetic' Counselling Certificate and Diploma Programs
We offer a 10 course ( 30 credits ) one year Bible Counselling Certificate or a 20 course (60 credits ) two year Diploma Program to prepare those who may be considering this field. It is the equivalent of our third and fourth year Bachelors Program Majoring in Biblical Counselling courses as well. If you plan to go on to the advanced degree levels of this Program then you will also need to choose your required Minor subject as well from the electives under the course offerings listed on the left Nav bar link. The core courses and credits are mandatory for completing this level for both certicates and Diplomas.
*We offer both a Certificate and Diploma academic program in Biblical or 'Nouthetic' Studies but not Certification or Licenses. Please specify the Program you are interested in at the time you apply and note any admission requirements here as posted for all levels as well as submission of all supporting documemtation to us for final approval before you can register for any courses in the next available term. We recommend that you apply for this at www.nanc.org once you are done. They recommend that you have studied from the books that we offer here in our Programs as texts and so may advance you credits or placement if you wish to become a certified Bible Counsellor with them. Please ensure always that you check ahead if you plan to attend future institutions for transferability from all Programs as with anywhere else. If you are seeking a comparable, quality Curriculum of studies with an excellent Faculty at a low-cost tuition then this may be the option for you.
* PLEASE NOTE* We require that ALL students have suitable References upon request. We reserve the right to request at any time at our discretion a background check as well for these degrees as entrance or graduation requirements as well as for students entering our Christian Counselling or Pastoral Ministry Programs as they involve working closely with vulnerable populations. If you are from the USA you may further request the difference in spelling of Counselor instead of Counsellor which is the Canadian spelling.
